Fortson and Reiff (1995) said:

“When a young child brings to you, a teacher or parent, something made through desire, effort and originality (a scribbled drawing, a bulky shape squeezed out of clay, or a splash of bold colours) this child is intuitively attempting to bring into being a type of relationship that lies at the very core of living. When bringing to you a “creation”, however simple or strange, this child is unconsciously saying: “here is a part of myself I am giving to you”.

At Sunflower the children are active participants at designing the environment. We look into our interests and projects and we find our inspiration in nature and our community. We discover what the space can do for us with every exploration we engage ourselves in.

We are excited for a new beginning, for new discoveries and the classroom is waiting for the magic of children.
